Why should we beware so much of Sugar?

Kids who get more than 10% of their daily calories from added sugars are more likely to have abnormal cholesterol levels, risk of obesity, high blood pressure & type 2 diabetes. And those problems put children & young adults at risk of heart disease. 1

Eating lots of added sugars early in life is linked to poor sleep, moodiness & inattention.

Research has linked sugar with short-term memory difficulties, which may affect learning. 1
