What are the “Do’s” and “Don’ts” of protecting your child from injuries?
  1. Do not use furniture with sharp edges, as this may harm the child if he/she bumped into it.
  2. Do not leave sharp tools near children or in a place where they can easily reach them. Remember to put away the cutting tools after using them.
  3. Avoid using glass for household appliances and tables.
  4. Do not leave transparent sliding glass doors closed in the presence of children, they may accidentally bump into them.
  5. Do not leave floor materials loose, because a child may trip on them.
  6. Do not give children toys that are shattered (made of glass or porcelain) as this may cause severe wounds.
  7. Do not place fans where children can access them.
