Any tips for screen time?

Start by being a role model and a good example, put limits and discuss it with your kid.

In order to make the screen time more fruitful, follow below tips:

  1. Sit with your child while watching TV and talk to him/her, interact and discuss what you are watching
  2. Make research about the games and apps before giving access for your kid, choose the educational ones based on online feedbacks from professionals
  3. Let the off-screen time activities take most of your kid’s day, like playtime that will help in learning and increasing the kid’s creativity
  4. No screens during mealtime
  5. No screens for a minimum of 1 hour before bedtime
  6. Turn off the TV when not watching. (No screens in the background)
  7. Don’t use your phone during family meals or playtime with your kid in order to be a role model
