How many times during school hours should a 3-6 year old eat?

Most children need to eat every 3 to 4 hours a day to support their growth and their active bodies. 2

Breakfast before going to school is something crucial as it helps your child to concentrate more and stay active.1

During his day at school, a packed lunched box from home that contains healthy food is very important.1

Here is some food to include in the lunch box: 

Cheese/turkey sandwich, washed and cut up vegetables, fresh or dried fruits, milk.2

Try to avoid as much as possible processed food (salami, ham), chips, chocolate, juice and soft drinks.1
