How to know if my kid is getting enough sleep?

My kid is getting enough sleep if:

  1. He wakes up before the alarm, and I don’t need to drag him out of bed after trying to wake him up several times
  2. He sleeps an average of hours between 9 to 12 per night (school age kids 3 to 5)
  3. He is not having mood swings nor lack of concentration
  4. His school performance is good
  5. He is not feeling tired throughout the day
  6. He doesn’t need to catch up sleep on the weekend

If you notice that none of these signs are met, you should check your kid’s sleep health.
