What are the ‘’Do’s’’ and “Don’ts” in order to prevent falling accidents?
  1. Install strong gates for the stairs, always leave the door leading to the balcony locked.
  2. Never leave children unsupervised, on high floors, high places or on balconies.
  3. Do not place a toddler on a seat or on a bed that has no sides, as he or she may fall to the ground. Put the child in his or her bed, if you must leave him alone and make sure the bed hinges are strong, and that the wooden edge of the bed is blunt, and the paint is free of lead. Do not allow your little one to sleep on the top bed of a bunkbed if it is without a barrier on the upper floor.
  4. If your child uses strollers, make sure it is stable and balanced so that it does not collapse or tip over.
  5. Do not leave your child alone in (his stretcher) if you are in a place where you cannot watch out for him.
  6. Do not place furniture near an open window, as a child may climb and fall.
  7. Install rails on all windows on the upper floors.
  8. Do not leave loose liquids or water spots on the floor and do not place shiny materials under soft carpets, as this may cause children to slip. 1,2,3.
