The Role of vitamin K and where to find it

Vitamin K is a fat-soluble vitamin that comes in two forms: Phylloquinone and Menaquinones.

It helps to make various proteins that are needed for blood clotting and the building of bones.

Vitamin K is found in:

Phylloquinone form: green leafy vegetables, kale, spinach, broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, lettuce, soybean & canola oil, fortified meal replacement shakes.

Menaquinones form: fermented soybeans, meat, cheese, eggs. 1
